The Red Sox Game during Texas Vacation

We are on vacation...and today Brother John and S-I-L Susie have obtained tickets for us to see the Boston Red Sox play the Texas Rangers @ Rangers Ballpark in Arlington (Creative name, don't you think?)

Game 3 of the Season.  Been looking forward to this for a while. Haven't seen the Sox play in Boston in many years - they require your first-born as a down payment for bleacher seats at Fenway. And don't even get me started about the cost of parking!!!

ANYway, we all pile into the Escalade (John and Susie. Their daughter Jennifer and her son Jordan. And JD 'n me). --they are all Rangers fans, decked out appropriately. We are dressed in all the Red Sox gear we own.

The Rangers have won the first two games of this series. No Problem. The Sox will have their day!

But it won't be TO-day.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, we had a fantastic time.  Had great seats in the 'all-you-can-eat' section of the park. Had a fun rivalry with our family and many other Rangers fans. Ate like piggies. 

What more can you ask for????

(uhhhh....a Sox win might be nice...)

Side Note:
The "Ballpark" has an electronic banner that circles the park, and every few minutes it displays the directive "Make Some NOISE!!!".  Guess Ranger Fans are not quite as vocal as management would like.

Making noise is NOT a problem at Fenway:
