Hi, everyone!
In honor of Jean's visit, we hosted our Second Annual Cocktail Party! Jean and I spent the whole day (in the rain) shopping. We were looking for a certain book by Brian Weiss, and wound up buying three of his and one by Richard Bach. We looked for shoes, and would you believe WE DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WE LIKED??? We hit another store, in search of a coffeemaker (mine blew a heating element two days before) and some party stuff, and then Dave's Marketplace for food to serve as a compliment to tonight's signature beverage:
Caramel Apple Margaritas
Last year, the party was "Formal" and we all dressed in our finest finery. Anthony wore an ascot instead of a bow tie, but we let him in, anyway.
This year's theme was "Chapeaux, I Suppose", and all were instructed to wear their favorite headgear.
