Vacation Preparation

Hello, My Dear Friend!

Every year, within a month or so of our Anniversary, jd and I take a vacation. Last year, we visited family in Texas. It was a very pleasant trip. jd made all the arrangements, and all I had to do was enjoy myself!

But don't you find that anticipation of the trip is often as exciting as being there?  Well, I do, and so planning what we'll do and when we'll do it is fun for me.  So today I begin making itineraries for our up-coming vacation.

This year, we will visit Lost Wages, Nevada.

It's been over twenty years since we've been there, and, judging by the websites I have visited, a lot has changed! The hotel we stayed in before, The Sahara,  is no more.  That's kinda sad...we really enjoyed the atmosphere there.  But several new resorts have sprung up on The Strip:  Bellagio, The Venetian, The Palazzo, Aria, and Wynn, to name a few, with hundreds of  new shows, new Thrill Rides, and dozens more 'free' attractions than last time!

So it will be like going somewhere new. How delightful!

Say goodbye to that IRS Refund!

xoxoxo, cd

  1. I suspect I'm too late to make any suggestions, but if you want any tips on gambling (or anything else out there) I'll be glad to impart whatever knowledge I have. I've been there quite a few times in the past 20 years, and I have more knowledge, concerning odds and such, than 99.9% of the populace (no brag, just fact. Worked as a blackjack dealer, croupier, craps table stickman/dealer, etc., for quite a while, and made an independent study of odds, card counting, and so forth, for my own pleasure. I am on the plus side for a lifetime of gambling, which few can say. Even if you don't want a hard core education, I might be able to at least slow the losses if you tell me what your favorite gambles are.)
